OUR TEAM

Rowan Ikasaya

Founder & Personal Trainer

I have been working in fitness and wellbeing for over fifteen years. After training in contemporary dance I went on to qualify as a yoga teacher, sports massage therapist and Personal trainer, Ive gained a wealth of knowledge and practical experience over the years and offer a holistic, hands on approach to training and designing exercise programs.

I hope to help you as my client to

  • optimise strength,

  • improve mobility,

  • prevent injury

  • assist injury rehabilitation

  • Build a healthy relationship with exercise that becomes part of your lifestyle

I works closely with other health professionals who often refer clients on from osteopathic or physiotherapy treatments for continued supervised strength training and more complex training goals

I also have first hand experience of postnatal training and have helped lots of women on the journey to reconnect to their core strength postnatally.

My aim is to keep training creative and fun whilst most importantly being effective in meeting each persons individual goals.

Personal Trainer

I help people build capacity for life.

Our capacity is determined by three key areas: physical, cognitive, and emotional health — these foundations shape how we experience life and interact with the world.

When life’s demands exceed our capacity we suffer. You feel like you have a ‘problem’ to fix:

Pain. Fat. Weakness. Stress. Posture. But nothing exists in isolation. Understand that these are symptoms.

With my approach these symptoms are captured within a broader system that addresses your capacity, they don’t become the organising principle for your plan. I seek to solve problems without creating others.

Rather than focusing on quick fixes or isolated goals, I work to develop balanced, long-term capability across the key domains. Thriving isn’t quelling one symptom or even excelling in one area — it’s about building broad capacity that empowers you to accept the full weight of the life you want.

I use a combination of:

  • Breathwork and meditation

  • Resistance training

  • Movement practice and mobility work

  • Cardiovascular training

  • Boxing

No fads, no extremes. I’ll tailor a plan to meet you where you are, and guide you beyond it. If some of these tools are new to you, that’s absolutely fine. Sessions are designed to stimulate progress - not overwhelm. The process will be engaging and enjoyable.

With a Sports Science degree and over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry since 2010, I help clients build real strength, resilience, and performance - not just great aesthetics. My background in competitive athletics, CrossFit coaching, endurance training, injury rehabilitation, and movement coaching allows me to take a holistic approach to health and fitness.

I spent 7 years working in South Africa alongside physiotherapists and professional athletes, gaining valuable experience in performance training, rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term athletic development. As a personal trainer, CrossFit trainer, massage therapist & yoga teacher, I have a deep understanding of how the body moves, adapts, recovers, and performs under different training demands.

My coaching combines

  • strength training,

  • movement,

  • nutrition,

  • mindset

to help clients improve energy, confidence, fitness, and long-term health in a sustainable way.

Whether your goal is to return from injury, improve performance, build strength, or simply move better in everyday life, I create realistic, personalised coaching that works with your lifestyle - not against it."

My teaching is rooted in experience, curiosity, and a deep respect for the individual journey. I aim to support students in building strength, awareness, and confidence in their bodies—whatever their age or starting point.

I am a professional dancer and extensive experience in yoga with decades of international experience, performing across world stages including the Royal Opera House and the Royal Albert Hall.
I have always maintained a deep and continuous personal practice of yoga. Which has evolved from a complementary discipline into a lifelong path that supports physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. I continue to explore, refine, and integrate yoga practice into every stage of my life and teaching work

I am passionate about transformation through movement and believe in the body’s ability to adapt, strengthen, and evolve with age. This philosophy informs my way of teaching in offering intelligent, embodied, and mindful movement with strong breath work guidance.
In a one to one setting that is personal and private I can offer precise adjustments and help you refine your practice

I continue to train and evolve, and I value sharing knowledge that is both practical and deeply lived.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Building Strength That Supports Your Life

We believe exercise is one of the most important foundations of long-term health and wellbeing.

Strength training, mobility and functional movement together create a body that is resilient, capable and able to move freely through everyday life.

Our goal is not simply short-term results, but to help clients develop sustainable habits that support lifelong health.

COLLABORATION WITH HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Working Together to Support Your Recovery

We work closely with local osteopaths and physiotherapists to support clients recovering from injury.

Clients are often referred through these partnerships, allowing rehabilitation programmes to continue safely through guided strength training and movement work.

This collaborative approach ensures clients receive well-rounded support for both recovery and long-term physical health.
